BANKING AND CREDIT NEWS-January 27, 2015-Givex acquires Chase's gift card business


Givex said it has agreed to acquire Chase Paymentech's gift card business.

The company said as part of the transition, gift card merchants can take immediate advantage of enhanced features that include loyalty, campaign management, fulfillment services, analytics, value-added venue tickets, mobile wallet, e-gifting and on-line ordering.

Existing clients and merchants should experience no disruption in service as the transitioned to the company's servers takes place. Transactions will continue to be processed using existing integrations and protocols.

The company said it expects to open an office in Dallas to support the new gift card client base.
