Gigging for greyhounds; views.

THE members of Hall Green Retired Greyhound Trust wish to express their gratitude to all the artistes who performed for free at the Trevor Burton charity gig at Hall Green Stadium on September 6. It was a fantastic evening with appearances by several wellknown Birmingham musicians. The concert, in aid of ex-racing greyhounds, generated a grand total of pounds 1,500-plus which will be split 50/50 between Hall Green RGT and Daybreaks Kennels and go towards the care and maintenance of the greyhounds in our care.

The venue and buffet were kindly donated by the stadium owners.

A massive thank-you to Trevor Burton, his promotional team Jan and John Davis, who organised the whole show, and all the backroom boys.

It was a wonderful evening and we truly appreciate your support.

Christina Fowler, Hall Green RGT
