Responds to the Events of September 11

Giga Information Group, Inc. (OTC BB: GIGX) today announced that Steve Hunt, vice president will chair the Infosecurity Conference and Exhibition from December 4-6 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City. Keynoting the conference is Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the House of Representatives and political commentator for the Fox News Network. Other conference speakers include George Samenuk, chairman and CEO of Network Associates and Abbie Lundberg, editor-in-chief of CIO Magazine.

This year's Infosecurity Conference and Exhibition will focus on how security measures are expected to change to respond to the events of September 11. The conference program has been designed to provide security professionals with the latest information on countermeasures to the vulnerabilities of Internet network security. Also on the conference agenda are newly created, in-depth sessions focused on eliminating and mitigating risks associated with terrorism, biometrics and smartcard technology and dealing with the threat of cyberterrorism.
