Getting boules rolling at Lepton celebration day.

LEPTON Community Link promise a day to remember when the village's new boules/ petanque court is opened next month.

There will be a celebration gala, Vive La Lepton, to mark the newly refurbished Lepton Recreation Ground on May Day Bank Holiday, May 4, from 10am-4pm.

The fun event for all the family will take place there and at Lepton Methodist Church.

Attractions include: tombola, bric-a-brac, craft stalls, face painting, ice cream and the chance to learn to play boules and croquet.

There will be the chance to play Tug of War for mums and dads and for thirsty members of the community The Sun inn, Lepton, will put on a licensed bar.

In addition there will be the chance to enjoy delicious Le Petit Brettone French crepes, cake and galettes.
