Get your teeth into Florida!

The price is right - and so is the location.

Kissimmee-St Cloud couldn't be better placed as a base for visiting Florida's most spectacular attractions.

Just 20 miles south of Orlando International Airport, Kissimmee rubs shoulders with Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios.

Not far away are Busch Gardens, Gatorland, the Kennedy Space Centre and lots more.

There's a bonus too for those who want to see the real Florida.

Although it has developed along with the entertainment attractions, Kissimmee still retains a close-to-nature appeal.

Sport and recreation are well catered for with 20 golf courses plus canoeing, boating, water and jet ski-ing and tennis. And the huge freshwater lakes are famous for bass fishing.

Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is easily reached by car. It covers 43 square miles - roughly the size of central Manchester!

In that area alone there are EIGHT theme parks.

Universal Studios have "disaster" rides, Sea World is now the fourth largest zoological collection in the USA and Busch Gardens in Tampa is popular for its fairground rides. The coast, with its beautiful beaches and nature reserves, is just over an hour's easy drive.

We took an air-boat ride across black lagoons surrounded by creepy mangrove trees hung with moss while huge alligators fixed us with beady eyes.

And at a restaurant I discovered alligator nuggets on the menu.

They tasted a bit like chicken - and I couldn't help feeling a little smug at ME getting to bite THEM!
