Get pigging with Hula Hoops. (Packs Promotions Products).

KP is to throw 8m [pounds sterling] behind Hula Hoops this year, adding another variant to the popular brand.

Part of the giant spend will go on encouraging consumers to behave like pigs as part of a radio competition which will help usher in new Sizzling Bacon flavour.

The promotion will aim to persuade listeners to get in touch with their porcine side by revealing their lazy or greedy habits. Prizes include a holiday rolling in the mud in Ireland. DJs will also give directions to find the sampling teams where they can try the new flavour for themselves.

The company predicted that the new flavour, which is available from next week, would be a big hit with the brand's target audience of 12 to 24-year-olds.

The Hula Hoops range is also getting a new colourful look to welcome its fifth member, complete with an added twist.

The Hula Hoops Original pack is now red and features post boxes, while Barbecue Beef is brown with pictures of brown bears.

The blue Salt & Vinegar pack is decorated with moons and Cheese & Onion with green frogs. Purple Sizzling Bacon sports pictures of a number four pool ball.
