Get in the Sea: An Apoplectic Guide to Modern Life by Andy Dawson to be published by Michael Joseph.

Book publisher Michael Joseph has acquired rights to Andy Dawson's Get in the Sea: An Apoplectic Guide to Modern Life, publishing news company The Bookseller revealed on Wednesday.

Dawson is the creator of the popular 'Get in the Sea' Twitter account and Facebook page, which reportedly highlights people and things that need to get in the sea. The author is said to have over 126,000 followers on Twitter and Get in the Sea has had over 165,000 likes on Facebook.

The Bookseller quoted Dawson as saying: "The book will be filled with all the things and people that have forfeited the right to exist on dry land due to their complete and utter ridiculousness. Everything from man buns to gin made from ants; real people playing Quidditch to juicing crawls and dog yoga."

Michael Joseph has world rights in all languages and audio rights to Get in the Sea: An Apoplectic Guide to Modern Life, which will be published on 25 February 2016.
