Get fell in for a fitter new you in New Year.

A LIVERPOOL couple are helping the Territorial Army launch a New Year fitness campaign.

The course is open to anyone wanting to work off the festive excesses.

Diane and Collin Skarratts, from Litherland, are both TA physical trainers and they will be working on the 12-week Time to Get FitTA campaign.

The couple are responsible for keeping about 150 TA soldiers from Liverpool's 156 Transport Regiment up to peak fitness and their romance blossomed through their TA work.

Collin explained: "We first met when Diane was a fitness instructor at a gym in Maghull where she was teaching me.

"Then she joined the TA when I was a fitness instructor and I was teaching her."

The 12-week programme covers flexibility and strength as well as aerobic and muscle endurance, with sessions lasting an average of 40 minutes.
