Get a cool deal on a fridge with real mileage.

FUNDRAISING runner Tony 'the Fridge' Morrison is to sell his famous Smeg fridge to get cash for his next charity mission.

The marathon man is planning to run across the United States, once again with a fridge strapped to his back.

But to fund the trip he is now flogging his beloved Smeg on Ebay.

Tony, 50, from Hebburn, who has completed the Great North Run 30 times with his current fridge, said it would be so expensive to ship it over the the states he will buy one there.

The dad-of-four has set the bidding at PS5,000, and he will run the fridge over to the lucky winner.

He said: "I will run over to the winner's house with the fridge T-shirts, signed pictures and Tony the fridge goodies. It does come with a Lifetime of Pain Guarantee."
