Get Wylfa over with as soon as possible; LETTERS.

IS THERE anything being done in the world that your regular 'know all' letter writer Trefor Davies agrees with (Post 14/12).

There are many reasons why most of the world still uses overhead transmission lines (other than cost) and will no doubt continue to do so.

Together with Anglesey County Council leader Bryn Jones they are merely protestors with no real evidence.

Likewise Neil Rowlands of Tresgawen Hall belongs to the same ilk. Remember him? He wanted to change the country name to Royal Anglesey because the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are transient residents.

The many visitors I meet from the areas of the UK where I lived previously have never mentioned Wylfa B or transmission lines to me, they are just happy to come here.

Wylfa B and the new transmission lines should be constructed as quickly as possible before the candle making industry becomes the biggest employer on Anglesey.
