Germination -- The magazine of the Canadian seed industry -- published its first-ever GENEius Edition in January. The special, annual issue places the spotlight on six of the Canadian seed industry's most innovative thinkers who are making things happen in the industry. The list includes Todd Hyra of Proven Seed; Ken Allison, seed taxonomist; Om Dangi with Agriculture Environmental Renewal Canada Inc.; Roger Underwood, CEO of Becker Underwood; Bill Parks, president of Pioneer Hi-Bred Canada Ltd.; and Lloyd Dyck, CEO and chairman of Brett-Young Seeds.
