They were received at the airport by representatives of the General People's Congress and the German Ambassador. The Secretary of the General People's Congress Mr. Muftah Mohammed Ka'aiba met Thursday with the German parliamentary delegation. According to the Libyan news agency JANA, Ka'aiba briefed the German parliamentarians on direct democracy system applied in Libya. Exchange of visits by the General People's Congress and the German parliament, as well as coordination of positions on international matters of common interest were discussed in the meeting.
