General councilor of ANP shot injured.

PESHAWAR -- An elected general councilor of Awami National Party was shot injured by unknown armed men in the jurisdiction of Yakatoot Police Station on Wednesday. Police said that Mir Zaman, an elected general councilor was on way market when unknown armed men riding on motorcycle opened fire on him. As result of firing he received severe bullets injuries. Local of the area shifted the injured to Lady reading Hospital. The killers managed their escape good from the scene of crime. Cops registered case against unknown miscreants and started further investigation. Meanwhile, a 15-year old girl committed suicide for unknown reason in a private hotel's washroom located in the jurisdiction of Khan Razik Police Station on Wednesday noon.

Local police said that a family, including a woman, her daughter and a son, who came to Peshawar for some sort of treatment at Lady Reading Hospital from Bannu and hired a room at a private hotel for stay. Mother of the deceased, filed report with police at Lady Reading Hospital and said that she along with her son were at hotel room when her daughter Amina entered in washroom whereas she strangled to death herself at washroom. The complainant stated that her daughter has committed suicide. Local police said that they are ascertaining the matter either it was suicide or murder, however, investigation in the regard is underway.
