General Synod Web site invites comments.

The church has launched a Web site that informs visitors about the issues that are expected at the upcoming meeting of General Synod in June. In plenary (www.anglican/ca/gs2007/about/ip.htm) is an interactive online feature where new articles about the triennial meeting are expected to be posted every three weeks; responses and comments are welcome. Articles posted to date involve synod planning and the issue of church governance.

Vianney Carriere, director of General Synod's communication and information resources department, said the rules for the discussions are simple. Participants are asked to be brief, respectful of others' views; they are also asked to state their position using moderate language.
