Gearing up for panto time with Rapunzel.

THRINGSTONE Pantomime and Drama Society (TPADs) will present a new pantomime Rapunzel 'A Tangled Pantomime' by Limelight Scripts at the village's Charles Booth Centre.

Director Cheryl Cooper, producers Shannon Lloyd and Scott Coleman and singing coach Robert Price are working hard to get everything ready for the show, which runs from January 19-27.

TPADs have also announced that they are supporting The Little Princess Trust as their charity for Rapunzel.

The trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults up to the age of 24, who have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. A spokesperson said: "A wonderful charity that fits in with Rapunzel who has wonderful golden hair. We hope the money raised will make someone have their very own princess hair."

Tickets are available at or by calling 0333 666 3366.
