Gearing up for 17th annual Expo.
With free seminars, free advice booths, 200 exhibitors, all day raffles and complimentary copies of industry resource directories, the Expo consistently attracts sizeable crowds of board members, apartment owners, prospective buyers and various real estate industry professionals, highlighted by last year's turn out of nearly 4,000 visitors.
"The popularity of this show increases commensurate with the activity in the co-op and condo market," says Henry Robbins, executive vice president of Yale Robbins, Inc.
"More often than not, peoples' homes and properties are their most important assets and the Expo is a one-stop shop for information on how to protect and enhance the value of those assets.
"One of the greatest benefits of the Expo is its educational opportunities for consumers. At the same time, there is excellent marketing potential for the 200 exhibitors who are also providing important information about the newest products and services available.
"In addition, we feature booths in which real estate professionals provide advice at no charge to the attendees. And the seminars, which are also free, are always popular, each one is attended by, literally, hundreds of people."
Adds co-producer Angelina Mason, "Over the years, there has been a demonstrable increase in pre-registration because of the easy sign up on the website. It is a good option because it basically eliminates the long waiting lines."
The website registration page is www.coopexpo.com and toll-free telephone registration is 1-888-249-0367. Admission is free, pre-registration is requested. The show is being held in Americas Halls I and II at The New York Hilton.
The Expo is sponsored by The Cooperator and produced by publisher Yale Robbins, Inc.
