Gary Sinise.

Hollywood-based Catholics in Media Associates honored actor Gary Sinise with its Humanitarian Award during its 13th annual Mass and awards luncheon Nov. 6. Sinise, star of the television show "CSI: NY," was honored for visiting American troops abroad and supporting Iraqi schoolchildren. Sinise thanked his wife of 29 years, actress Moira Harris, for leading their family by her decision to embrace her Catholic faith, by enrolling their three children in Catholic school and for inspiring him to commit significant time to service projects. "She has made me a better man," he said.
