Gangs play dirty tricks.

TRICK or treaters pelted houses and cars with eggs in Nuneaton and Bedworth last night.

In Romsey Avenue, Weddington, one homeowner chased a group of teenage boys after they pelted her home with eggs.

Eggs were also thrown in Walton Close, Whitestone, Nuneaton, Glen- wood Gardens, Bedworth, and Cheveral Road, Bedworth.

A Warwickshire police spokeswoman, said: "There were a lot of immature pranks carried out last night but fortunately no serious incidents.

"But the behaviour of teenagers in the borough did not help pave the way for true trick or treaters who had doors shut in their face or unopened because of the egg pelting."
