Gang involved in looting people busted.

MARDAN -- The police busted a gang involved in looting people carrying money in different part of the district and arrested its four members and recovered 40.3 million looted money and motorbike used in the robbery incidents, officials said on Wednesday. District police officer Mohammad Sajjad Khan told a press conference that a gang of robbers from the last few weeks were looting people in different parts of the district. He added that the gang on gunpoint looted 30 million rupees from Shamsh-ur-Rehman a well-known flour dealer on mill by pass road near Akbar Darul Ulum when he was carrying the cash to his house in his car.

He added that the robbers also injured him in the robbery incident. He added that later on the gang looted Tajdar Mohammad dealer of bricks at Gujjar Gahri and by force snatched 20 million rupees from him when he was carrying the cash from bank a few days back. He added that the gang looted 0.4 million rupees from a trader Malang at Sheikh Maltoon town area.
