Brown Harris Stevens SELECT hosted a summer cocktail party at the new luxury condominium Reade57. Shlomi Reuveni and his team were celebrating sales reaching 50% at the building developed by the John Buck Company, where prices start at $1.058 million. More than 50 people attended a recent fundraising event for the Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) at Four Brothers Restaurant in Mahopac. The event raised over $1,000. RPAC is a political support group focused on benefiting real estate professionals and the American dream of home ownerships. Downtown Flushing's luxury condominium, Sky View Parc together with Sky View Center, recently welcomed a Pop Art installation by internationally-acclaimed Spanish Artist dEmo curated by Flushing's contemporary art gallery, Crossing Art. The collection features 30 Bear sculptures, ranging from 2.5 to nearly seven feet in various neon bright colors. The exhibition was first introduced during a private viewing for residents of Sky View Parc at the luxury building's four-acre roof garden. The exhibit has been relocated below in Queens' regional multi-level mall, Sky View Center, and will be on public display through August 31, 2012.

The Sheffield hosted a cocktail reception for VIP brokers to celebrate the launch of the building's Sky Club amenity spaces. The event--catered by David Burke--took place in the glass-enclosed 58th floor Sunrise Lounge. Swimwear designer Caitlin Kelly celebrated the debut of her inaugural collection during a special runway show atop TF Cornerstone's 2 Gold Street condominium. Kelly introduced 26 swimwear designs during her first ever runway show, which was held on the 9,000 s/f roof deck of the luxury building. 200 fashion icons and trendsetters attended the event at the 51-story tower in FiDi. "I am amazed with the turnout for my first ever solo runway show," said Caitlin Kelly. "It was such a success and the views from the rooftop of 2 Gold Street were phenomenal; this was truly the perfect setting to launch my collection."

One of the raffle-prize winners at the Sheffield reception was Myra Bodek of Prudential Douglas Elliman, who recently sold one of the highest-priced penthouse homes in the building. Myra (right) is pictured with Stephanie Mastronardi (left) and Sophia Cicilioni of The Sheffield sales team.
