Galeano is silly. (Letters to the Editor).

Eduardo Galeano's column "Terror in Disguise" (February issue) is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen printed in your magazine.

The author is under the impression that "the Market" is an enemy worse than bin Laden or Saddam. This enemy is blamed for "stealing food, eliminating jobs, kidnapping countries, and starting wars." Gosh, Eduardo, why don't we just turn over our businesses, houses, and property to the all-wise state, so this evil market can't do any more damage?

The Progressive loses credibility by printing this type of anti-free-market garbage. Your message of peace is too important to be diluted in this way.
