Galbreath Riverbank named at Plaza 57.

AMTAD New York, inc. has hired Galbreath Riverbank L.P. to act as exclusive leasing agent to Plaza 57, AMTAD's 21-story commercial office property. The announcement was made' by William Freydberg, director of AMTAD and Bruce Mosler, vice chairman of Galbreath Riverbank. The two men, along with Galbreath Riverbank' s A. Mitti Liebersohn, are principally responsible for developing the marketing and leasing strategy for the property.

Plaza 57 is located on West 57th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. The property is an efficient location for businesses needing instant access to the entertainment, cosmetic and textile communities, among other national and international businesses.

The property was constructed in 1991 and houses one of the world's most prestigious Japanese business clubs, The Nippon Club. Plaza 57 shares its neighborhood with the corporate offices of Beatrice, Avon and Burlington. Major entertainment and talent agencies .are located on 57th Street, including The William Morris Company, APA, and International Creative Management. The Plaza District is also home to the headquarters of Revlon, Almay, Nautica and Chanel. The building is surrounded by renowned shopping and hotels, notable retailers include Tiffany's, Bergdorf Goodman, Hermes, Estee Lauder, and famous hotels include the Parker Meridian, St. Regis and The Plaza. While Carnegie Hall remains an obvious attraction, Planet Hollywood and the Russian Tea Room are located directly across the street from the building.

Floorplates range from 3.200 to 4,100 square feet.

Plaza 57 is owned by AMTAD New York, a subsidiary of Takenaka Corporation, and one of Japan's foremost construction and development companies.
