Gaddafi's son captured by Libyan forces.

Summary: One of Colonel Gaddafi's sons Mo'tassim has reportedly been captured inside the Libyan town of Sirte.

One of Colonel Gaddafi's sons Mo'tassim has reportedly been captured inside the Libyan town of Sirte, according to the head of the Tripoli Revolutionary Council.

Formerly Libya's national security advisor, Mo'tassim was picked up by troops as he tried to flee the town in a car with his family, and was taken to Benghazi for questioning.

He had reportedly attempted to disguise himself by cutting his usually long hair short.

Military sources say he is being held in the Boatneh military camp and that he is "exhausted" but uninjured.

Muammar Gaddafi's most politically prominent son, Saif al-Islam, is still on the run.

He and his father - who ruled Libya for 42 years - fled Tripoli on August 23.
