GULFSTREAM PASSENGER JETS BEING SHOWN TO MEDIA
Two new business 12-19 passenger jets are being shown to members of

the media, business jet owners and flight crews in the Chicago area.
The Gulfstream IV-SP is fully operational. Six video screens in the cockpit replace the maze of instruments you can expect to see.
The aircraft is normally flown with on-board computers from brake release to just before touchdown.
The passenger cabin is the largest in the business jet industry and is outfitted as a flying conference room and office.
The Gulfstream V is a full-size cabin mock-up of the first business jet that will be able to fly from Chicago to Cairo, Tokyo, or Buenos Aires non-stop.
The Gulfstream V cabin has been designed to reduce stress on people who could be aboard for up to 14 hours.
The Gulfstream V will complete the FAA testing and approval process in 1996 and is priced at $29.5 million.
Business editors and writers are invited to a reception for the Gulfstream IV-SP and the Gulfstream V, 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., today, (Nov. 4, 1992), at Motorola Aviation Services, Pal-Waukee Municipal Airport, Wheeling, Ill., and a private showing of the new Gulfstream V full-size cabin mockup Nov. 4-6, 1992, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
