 GTSI NAMES TUCKER VICE PRESIDENT
 CHANTILLY, Va., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Government Technology


Services, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: GTSI) announced Monday that Deborah M. Tucker has joined the company as vice president-corporate communications. In this newly formed position, she will report to R.M. Rickenbach, chairman, chief executive officer and president, and will be responsible for investor relations, public relations and marketing communications.
 Tucker, 39, was previously vice president of corporate communications for The Fairchild Corporation, formerly named Banner Industries, a diversified aerospace conglomerate. From 1989 to 1990, she was vice president, communications, of a subsidiary of Matra S.A., a French aerospace company. Before that she held various communications and investor relations positions during her 12-year tenure at Fairchild Industries, Inc., which was acquired by Banner in 1989.
 A member of Women in Aerospace, Tucker serves on the Communications Council of the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and was past president of the Washington chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), of which she is a national member.
 Tucker, a native Washingtonian, is an alumna of Georgetown University (BSBA '77), Mount Vernon College (AA '74) and The Madeira School ('70). She is married and resides in McLean, Va.
 GTSI is the leading reseller of microcomputer hardware, software and networking products to the federal government market. In January 1992, the company began reselling workstations and allied software and peripherals. GTSI currently markets over 10,000 products manufactured by over 350 vendors, including IBM, Sun, Hewlett- Packard, ALR, Compaq, WordPerfect, Lotus, Borland, 3Com, Software Publishing, Epson, Novell and Microsoft. The company sells to virtually all departments and agencies of the government, all 50 state governments and hundreds of systems integrators and prime contractors selling to the government market.
