GTSI ELECTS SCHOENBERG DIRECTOR CHANTILLY, Va., Nov. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Government Technology
Services, Inc. (GTSI) (NASDAQ-NMS: GTSI), today announced the election of Lawrence J. Schoenberg to the company's board of directors. He was also elected chairman of the audit committee.
Schoenberg was the founder and was formerly chairman of the board and chief executive officer of AGS Computers, Inc., a subsidiary of NYNEX. He is also a director of Systems Center, Inc., and Merisel, Inc. He is active in the Information Technology Association of America (formerly ADAPSO), the leading computer software and services industry association, where he was previously president of the information systems integration division. GTSI is the leading reseller of microcomputer hardware, software and networking products to the federal government market. GTSI currently markets over 9,200 products manufactured by over 300 vendors, including IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, WordPerfect, Lotus, Borland, 3Com, Software Publishing, Epson, Novell and Microsoft.
