GTEN Taps CloudShield Technologies' Expertise for Delivering High-Speed VoIP and Content Control Solutions; Partnership Extends CloudShield's Reach into New, International Markets.
Under the agreement, GTEN will offer GTEN-branded applications on the CloudShield CS-2000 in order to meet new applications performance demands from their service provider and law enforcement agency customers. GTEN will also expand its current solution offering and resell CloudShield's VoIP management, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) mitigation and Peer-to-Peer application control solutions. The entire suite of solutions will be available through GTEN in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Middle East.
To meet the requirements of their customer base, GTEN needed a high performance network application platform with a robust and flexible development environment. The CS-2000 platform from CloudShield enables network operators to inspect, analyze and control IP traffic content -- including voice, video and data -- at multi-gigabit rates in a compact, scalable platform. CloudShield systems are currently deployed by some of the largest network service providers in North America, Europe and Japan.
"We have been actively seeking a partner that can provide a comprehensive processing platform for complex, high-speed network applications such as VoIP Lawful Intercept," said Paul Hoffman, Founder and Executive Board Chairman at GTEN, a DATAKOM spin-off. "CloudShield proved to be the clear leader for enabling high-speed network applications and enabling whole new classes of applications. Traffic volumes on our customers' networks continue to grow along with the speed of traffic transmission. Together with CloudShield, GTEN can easily meet the demands of our customers' networks today and into the future."
"GTEN's experience and expertise in monitoring, recording and reconstructing network communications aligns well with CloudShield's solution focus," said Vikash Varma, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at CloudShield. "This partnership supports CloudShield's strategic plan for global expansion, enabling us to offer solutions in new markets. By combining our best-of-breed technology with GTEN's network security and Lawful Intercept applications experience, service providers and law enforcement agencies in Europe and the Middle East have access to the solutions they need for today's converged IP communications."
CloudShield's high-speed VoIP and content control solutions are available immediately from GTEN.
