The contract is expected to be awarded in September 1992 and could be worth $200-300 million. Grumman plans to locate its geographic information systems development center and its ALMRS program office in Denver.
Grumman Data Systems Division, as prime contractor, will provide overall program management, including systems engineering and integration. The ALMRS team includes Hewlett-Packard Company, Calif., responsible for the computing systems; U.S. West, Inc., Colo., providing communications support; and Genasys II, Inc., Colo., supplying the critical geographic information systems.
Other team members include TERRA-MAR Resource Information Services, Inc., Calif.; Oracle Corporation, Calif.; InfoTec Development Inc., Calif.; Petroleum Information Corporation, Colo.; and HFSI, Va.

Sandler, president, Grumman Data Systems and Services Group. "Each team member brings a solid background in information systems technology and applications. Combined with Grumman Data Systems' strength in integration, information technology, and technical project management, we can fulfill all the requirements of the bureau's project, and meet any future needs."
