GREGORY TO LEAVE MULTIFOODS' VENDING DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS

 MINNEAPOLIS, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- International Multifoods Corp. (NYSE: IMC) announced that John Gregory has resigned as president of VSA, the company's vending distribution business, effective April 30, 1994.
 Tony Luiso, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Multifoods, said that Jay Johnson, group vice president, will act as VSA's interim president until a successor can be named.
 "The vending industry is entering an exciting phase as customers seek new opportunities for growth through innovative products and services. VSA is well positioned to capitalize on these changes," Luiso said. "At the same time, John is eager to expand his experience and consider other opportunities after having been with VSA for almost 20 years. We wish him much success in his future endeavors."
 Gregory was senior vice president of sales and marketing at VSA when it was acquired by Multifoods in 1984. He was named president of VSA in 1990.
 Minneapolis-based Multifoods is a diversified food-processing and specialty distribution company with major operations in the United States, Canada and Venezuela.
