 GREENBERG TRAURIG FORMS ASIAN-PACIFIC GROUP
MIAMI, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenberg Traurig, one of Florida's

largest law firms, has established a 15-person Asian-Pacific Group.
The new group will be directed by Craig Edward Stein, who has joined the firm in an Of Counsel capacity and has extensive experience with a variety of clients with East Asian business interests.
"We already represent a number of clients who could benefit from our Asian-Pacific group," said Greenberg Traurig managing director Larry Hoffman.
"Formalizing an Asian-Pacific group headed by Craig Stein, whose experience and success in the Japanese market have earned him tremendous respect within the business and legal communities, is the next logical step."
Stein said the group will initially consist of six attorneys from the firm's corporate, securities, and international departments as well as the tax and real estate departments. Paralegals, administrative and support staff will bring the number of people in the new group to 15.
Stein, who is fluent in Japanese, received part of his formal education in Japan.
"We expect our Asian-Pacific group will be instrumental in assisting our overseas clients with their business endeavors in the United States as well as American companies that are interested in entering the East Asian market," said Stein.
Greenberg Traurig provides full commercial law services on a local, national and international level. The firm has more than 160 attorneys and offices in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and New York City.
