 PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER OF WKRC-TV
 CINCINNATI, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- John P. Zanotti, president of the Television Group of Great American Broadcasting Company announced today that, effective Jan. 6, 1992, William G. Moll will become president and general manager of WKRC-TV, Cincinnati.
 "I have been impressed with Bill's excellent management of stations in mid-sized and large markets and look forward to his leadership at WKRC-TV. He is an innovator and I am delighted that someone of his stature will join our group," Zanotti said.
 Since 1989, Moll has been president and general manager of NBC-owned WNBC-TV in New York City. During his tenure, the station developed the number one rated 11 p.m. newscast in the market, made ratings improvements in other important dayparts and developed innovative community projects.
 Moll said, "I am excited about taking on the challenges at WKRC-TV and look forward to returning to the midwest where I was born and reared. I have a great deal of respect and affection for John Zanotti and have known George Castrucci, chairman and chief executive officer of Great American Broadcasting for a number of years."
 Prior to his management of WNBC, Moll was president and chief executive officer of the Television Bureau of Advertising (TVB), the association which supports marketing efforts on behalf of several hundred member television stations.
 From 1972 through 1987, Moll was associated with Harte-Hanks Communications, Inc., a diversified media company based in San Antonia, Texas. He was president and chief executive officer of Harte-Hanks Broadcasting from 1979 to 1987, serving as group president of the company's four television stations, nine radio stations, and "Radio & Records," the leading trade publication for the radio industry. From 1972 to 1978, Moll was president and general manger of KENS-TV, a CBS affiliate in San Antonio, Texas.
 Moll was vice president and general manager of WSMW-TV, Worcester, Mass., from 1969 to 1972, station manager of noncommercial television station KLRN-TV, San Antonio from 1964 to 1969, and began his broadcasting career as a news anchor on KFVS-TV, Cape Girardeau, Mo. (1958-1961).
 He holds a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, Mo., and a masters of arts in communications/education, from the University of Texas at Austin. Moll and his wife, Marilyn, have two adult sons.
 Great American Broadcasting Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great American Communications Company (NASDAQ: GACC), owns five network affiliated television stations, and 12 FM and six AM radio stations in the top 50 markets. It has announced the pending acquisition of WGHP-TV, Greensboro-High Point, N.C. GACC's common stock trades over-the-counter under the symbol GACC.
