GRC INTERNATIONAL, INC. MEMBER OF TASC TEAM AWARDED $31 MILLION SDIO CONTRACT

 VIENNA, Va., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- GRC International, Inc. (NYSE, PSE: GRH), today announced that its subsidiary, General Research Corporation (GRC), is a member of the Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC) contractor team that was awarded a one-year bridge contract to continue scientific, engineering, and technical assistance (SETA) support to the Strategic Defense Initiative Organization (SDIO). GRC's potential revenues during the bridge period is estimated to be approximately $3.8 million. The bridge contract has a base value of $31 million and, if all surges are exercised, could go as high as $46.5 million, representing a potential value to GRC of as much as $5.7 million.
 The contract will provide system integration support as required by the SDIO's general manager and deputy for strategic relations in developing global, national, and theater missile defense systems providing protection against ballistic missile attacks. GRC will provide system analyses evaluation of air, sea, space, and ground-based architectures; utility analyses of defensive systems for management and resolution of crises; test and evaluation support for global and national missile defense systems; simulation support for national missile defense sensor elements; and other expertise required for the development, production, deployment and support of missile defense systems.
