GRC INTERNATIONAL, INC. APPOINTS NEW PRESIDENT TO SUBSIDIARY, SWL INC., STRENGTHENING LEADERSHIP AND FOCUS

 VIENNA, Va., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- GRC International, Inc. (GRCI) (NYSE: GRH) today announced the appointment of Joseph J. Eash III as president and chief executive officer of its subsidiary, SWL Inc. He succeeds Peggy Soley,


who resigned in April of this year.
 Mr. Eash has been corporate vice president for strategic planning and business development since his arrival at GRCI in May 1992. Earlier in 1993, he gained additional responsibility as vice president and director of General Research Corporation's Advanced Technologies Division.
 A new management team, greater efficiencies in GRCI's administrative functions, and streamlining and focusing the company's federal, commercial, and international business development activities have branded GRCI's progress in the early 1990s. Innovative and strong leadership of the company's subsidiary, SWL, will contribute to GRCI's growth potential and strategic direction.
 Retired U.S. Gen. Edward C. Meyer, an international consultant and member of the board of directors, said, "The appointment of Joe Eash is a seminal event toward realizing GRCI's growth, revenue and earnings goals for the future.  SWL provides a broad range of professional and technical services for electronic warfare; command, control, communications and intelligence; information management systems; and multimedia and traditional training to a wide variety of public and private sector clients.
 Prior to joining GRC International, Mr. Eash was senior vice president of SRI International's Engineering Research Group. He retired as a colonel from the U.S. Air Force in 1986 after a distinguished career. His assignments entailed a broad range of domestic and international responsibilities, including the management of new technology development and high technology programs, and participation on joint government/industry projects. Mr. Eash is currently the chairman of the platforms panel of the Defense Science Board Task Force on Global Surveillance.
