GRC INTERNATIONAL, INC. ANNOUNCES FIVE DOD PRIME CONTRACT WINS WITH POTENTIAL REVENUES OF UP TO $37 MILLION

 VIENNA, Va., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- GRC International, Inc. (NYSE: GRH) today announced the awards of five Department of Defense (DoD) prime contracts to its subsidiary, General Research Corporation ("GRC") (NYSE: GRN). These five contracts, including options, have an estimated potential value of approximately $37 million over the next five years.
 The five DoD prime contracts awarded are:
 -- The Process Reengineering for Enterprise Computing Tasks (PREFECT) contract with a potential value of $16 million, awarded by Rome Laboratory to support the production and distribution of intelligence products by the Air Force Foreign Aerospace Scientific and Technical Center (FASTC). GRC's System Development Division (SDD) will provide an information management system that integrates the analysis processes and tools used across the FASTC. The work will be performed in Dayton, Ohio.
 -- The Air Force Industrial Base Program Technical Support contract with a potential value of $6 million, awarded by the U.S. Air Force Material Command, to provide technical support for the Air Force Industrial Base Program. GRC's SDD will perform studies and analysis in support of the Defense Production Act, National Defense Stockpile and Air Force Manufacturing Technology Program. The work will be performed in Dayton.
 -- The Civilian Manpower Obligation Resources Decision Support System (CMORE) contract with a potential value of $5 million, awarded by the Defense Supply Service -- Washington on behalf of the assistant secretary of the Army for Financial Management, to provide software maintenance, enhancement and operation of the current CMORE mainframe system, GRC's Information Systems Division (ISD) will focus on downsizing the mainframe system to PC/LAN environment. The work will be performed in the Washington area.
 -- The Budget Management Information System (BMIS) contract with a potential value of $5 million, awarded by the Defense Supply Service -- Washington on behalf of the assistant secretary of the Army for Financial Management, to provide integrated resource management and decision support for the Army Budget Office. GRC's ISD will provide budget, execution, and programming plans and operations support. The work will be performed in the Washington area.
 The fifth contact is a classified USAF contract with a potential value of approximately $5 million and covers a period of 4 years.
