GRAVY TRAIN?

Byline: Fiona Phillips

OH my goodness, if only you could see who I'm sat with on the London to Manchester train as I write this. Well, there's Ken Barlow, Rosie, Sophie and naughty David Platt for starters.

Then there's gorgeous Becky, Eileen, Liz and... no, I shouldn't stare too hard - they'll think I'm some mad fan. Oooh, there's Sunita... Er, anyway, it's the morning after the National TV Awards and the Corrie revellers are on their way home and eagerly awaiting Virgin trains' "light bite" service.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the light bite is... cold curry pie slice." Honest. There's no end to the glamour when you've just won the award for Most Popular Serial Drama. Betty's hotpot must seem like posh nosh by comparison.
