GRAPHICS DYNAMICS INC. IS ACQUIRED IN POMPANO BEACH, FLA.

 ATLANTA, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Graphic Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: GRPH), a leading full service printing and graphic communications company, today announced it has acquired the assets of Graphics Dynamics Inc. of Pompano Beach, Fla.
 The assets, including a 40,000-square-foot building and substantially all machinery and equipment, were acquired from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the South District of Florida. The cash transaction is expected to close Jan. 31, announced Mark C. Pope III, chairman and chief executive officer of Graphic Industries, Inc. Terms were not disclosed.
 At its peak, Graphics Dynamics Inc. operated as a medium-run commercial printer with annual sales exceeding $11 million.
 The Graphics Dynamics Inc. assets will be merged into the Central Press of Miami, Inc., a Graphic Industries subsidiary; and they will operate out of their facility in Pompano Beach, Pope explained. A sales and customer support office will continue to be located in metro Miami.
 "This acquisition is part of Graphic's continuing acquisition program and will enable Graphic to serve its clients and the Greater Miami market even more efficiently with improved facilities and equipment, as we expand our presence in that market," said Pope.
 The Graphic operating companies, in addition to Central Press, include IPD Printing & Distributing, Inc., Williams Printing Company, Stein Printing Company, Atlanta Blue Print Co., Prizma Photographics, Executive Courier, Inc. and Northside Blueprint, all based in Atlanta; Craftsman Printing Co., Charlotte, N.C.; A&E Reprographics, Jacksonville, Fla.; W.E. Andrews Co., Inc., Boston; W.E.
