GRAND TRUNK/CN NORTH AMERICA OPENS $1.0 MILLION CARGOFLO TERMINAL IN WARREN, MICH.

 DETROIT, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Officials from the city of Warren, Mich., Grand Trunk/CN North America and Ashland Chemical Company today dedicated Michigan's first CargoFlo terminal located in Warren.
 The new $1.0 million terminal will be operated by Ashland Chemical Company in partnership with Grand Trunk/CN North America.
 "We will offer customers the same value-added service for the transfer and specialized handling of bulk commodities provided at the other 15 CargoFlo terminals successfully operating throughout the United States and Canada," said CN North America's Vice President Intermodal Al Gillies.
 Designed to handle a full-range of non-food products, the new terminal will initially focus on plastics. Ashland Chemical Vice President of Distribution Services Jim Duquin said, "This facility is fully secured, with professional storage and inventory management capabilities for safe, efficient and environmentally responsible operation."
 Other services include product sampling and weighing to ensure customer satisfaction. Packaging will be provided by General Polymers within the terminal confines.
 The terminal was officially dedicated by the Hon. Ronald Bonkowski, mayor of Warren, Duquin and Gillies.
 Mayor Bonkowski said he was delighted to have this important business unit located in his city, adding: "Having a quality distribution service is critical to business development."
 The Warren CargoFlo Terminal, which offers standing capacity in excess of 100 cars expects to handle 600 to 800 cars annually, generating nearly $1.0 million annual revenue.
