 Children's Zoo

Charles Marcy, president of Kraft General Foods/National Dairy Products Division, and Jan Stanton, executive director of the Dairy Council, will officiate at the noon ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Grand Opening of the new Dairy Exhibit at the Philadelphia Children's Zoo. Dairy Council of Southampton, Pa., the Middle Atlantic Milk Marketing Association, and Kraft General Foods are sponsors for this event.
Part of the Dairy Exhibit is a life-sized fiberglass cow which shows the cow's four stomachs and even lets visitors try a hand at milking. And, for those looking for the real thing, there are live cows to visit, "Zoobilee" and her new calf. Zoobilee will be milked as part of the planned activities. Also, farmers will be there to talk about farm life and answer any questions.
Special activities will be held throughout the day, which include:
-- Free ice cream for all kids
 -- Cow Mooing Contest
-- Activities which teach children how milk comes from the cow to their kitchen table
 -- Geraldine the Cow
 -- Dairy Princesses
-- Name the Baby Calf Contest
This Father's Day, bring the family and celebrate the Dairy Exhibit Grand Opening at the Philadelphia Children's Zoo. Admission is $5.75 for adults and $4.75 for children ages 2-11 and seniors. It will be a M-o-o-o-ving day!.
