GRAND CASINOS' FOUNDER NAMED TO BOARD OF TRUSTEES

 PLYMOUTH, Minn., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- David Anderson, a founder of Grand Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: GRND), was recently named to the board of trustees of Twin Cities Public Television. Anderson is a member of the Choctaw/Chippewa Indians and is a 1986 Masters graduate of Harvard University in Public Administration.
 In 1990, Anderson formed Grand Casinos, Inc. with Lyle Berman and Stan Taube. Grand Casinos currently manages two casino sites in Minnesota for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and has agreements with the Coushatta and Tunica-Biloxi in the State of Louisiana. The company is also opening its wholly owned site in Gulfport, Miss., in May. Grand Casinos is traded on the NASDAQ National Market System under the symbol GRND.
 Twin Cities Public Television, a part of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) owns and operates two television stations: KTCA -- channel 2 and KTCI -- Channel 17. The corporation's total economic activity in fiscal 1992 exceeded $16 million.
