GRAHAM RELIEVED.

Byline: PAT NOLAN

CORK captain Graham Canty has had his red card from the recent Munster final defeat to Kerry rescinded.

Canty was sent off on a second yellow card for an apparent trip on Kerry's Colm Cooper.

However TV pictures seemed to show that Canty got a touch to the ball before Cooper tripped over his outstretched leg and the CHC have acted by withdrawing the second yellow card and the sending-off has been erased from his disciplinary record.

Canty wouldn't have been due to serve a suspension but the red card could have impacted on a future ban if he was sent off again.
