GRADUATE STUDENTS OF TEXAS AandM AT QATAR ACCREDITED.
Texas AandM University at Qatar recognized and honoured its outstanding graduates at a Suhoor held recently.
At the event, graduating seniors as well as master's students were given honorary validations.
Each graduate was named Student of the Year by Texas AandM University.
It involved recognitions from its six academic programme and graduate studies.
Since 2003, Texas AandM University has offered undergraduate degrees in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering at Qatar Foundation's Education City, and graduate degrees in chemical engineering since fall 2011.
Texas AandM at Qatar has awarded more than 1,050 degrees.
The various graduates who were honoured were: Alaa Abdalla, graduate student in liberal arts; Ahmad Jamal A Al Kuwari, graduate in mechanical engineering; Abouelkassim Becetti, graduate in electrical engineering; Menatollah ElGendy, graduate in science; Arshad Ali, graduate in chemical engineering; Najla Badar, graduate in petroleum engineering; and Maria Christina Bismonte Orillano, chemical engineering graduate student.
