GRACO INC. NAMES TWO EXECUTIVES TO NEW POSITIONS

 MINNEAPOLIS, July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Graco Inc. (NYSE: GGG) today announced that two long-time Graco executives have been named to new positions. John L. Heller will become senior vice president and general manager of the Contractor Equipment Division, replacing Robert F. Hasse, who is retiring from Graco after 32 years of service. Heller, 57, of Bloomington, Minn., was most recently vice president - Pacific Operations. He joined Graco in 1972.
 Roger L. King will fill the newly created post of senior vice president and general manager - International Operations. Reporting to King will be Graco's operating units in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Japan and the Asia/Pacific region. King, 48, of Edina, was most recently senior vice president and chief financial officer. He has been employed at Graco since 1970.
 Barry A. Calhoon continues in his present position, but with a new title: senior vice president and general manager - Industrial/Automotive Division.
 Heller, King and Calhoon will report to Graco's recently named president and chief operating officer George Aristides, who said, "John, Roger, and Barry each have had over 20 years of experience here at Graco, and they will provide the leadership necessary to keep their respective segments of our business growing." The Contractor Equipment Division represented approximately 30 percent and the Industrial/Automotive Division about 61 percent of Graco's worldwide sales of $320 million in 1992, while all Graco business in Europe and the Pacific amounted to about 42 percent of Graco's sales last year.
 In addition, James A. Graner, 48, who was recently elected treasurer of the company, will now report directly to chairman and Chief Executive Officer David A. Koch. Graner joined the company in 1974.
