MINNEAPOLIS, June 24 -- Graco Inc. (NYSE: GGG) of Minneapolis today announced that George Aristides has been named President and Chief Operating Officer, and was also elected to the Board of Directors of the Company.
Graco Chairman and Chief Executive Officer David A. Koch said, "The management and Board of Graco have been reviewing the strategic direction of our Company. In the process of that review, it became clear that strong leadership will be necessary as we move the Company forward through the end of this decade and into the 21st century.
"George Aristides has been a valuable member of the Graco management team for nearly 20 years. I, and the other members of the Board, are convinced that George is the right choice for this important post at this stage of our development," he said.
