GRACE ELEVATES THREE ATTORNEYS

 BOCA RATON, Fla. May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- W. R. Grace & Co. (NYSE: GRA) announced today the election of Robert H. Beber as an executive vice president, and Robert B. Lamm and David B. Siegel as corporate vice presidents.
 Beber, 59, continues to serve as Grace's general counsel. He joined Grace as assistant general counsel-litigation in 1988, was elected a vice president in 1989 and was elected senior vice president and general counsel in 1991. He previously served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Baldwin United, Inc. Prior to that, he served in various executive capacities, including as a director, with GAF Corporation and spent 18 years at RCA Corporation. A native of New York City, Beber received an A.B. degree in 1955 and a J.D. degree in 1957 from Duke University.
 Lamm, 46, also a native of New York, continues as secretary of the corporation. After joining Grace in 1979 as securities counsel, Lamm held several positions in the company's corporate legal office. He previously served as assistant secretary of Studebaker-Worthington, Inc. and was formerly associated with the New York law firm of Wofsey, Certilman, Haft, Snow & Becker. He received his B.A. degree from Brandeis University in 1968 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1971. Lamm is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries.
 Siegel, another New York native, has also been designated deputy general counsel. He was formerly associate general counsel. Siegel, 44, joined Grace in 1977 as corporate counsel and has since held several positions in Grace's corporate legal office. Prior to 1977, Siegel was associated with the New York law firm of Kelley, Drye & Warren. He earned an A.B. degree from Columbia University in 1971 and a J.D. degree from New York University School of Law in 1974.
