GRACE ELECTS NEW VICE PRESIDENT AND CORPORATE CONTROLLER BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- W. R. Grace & Co.
(NYSE: GRA) today announced the election of Richard N. Sukenik as a vice president and corporate controller.
Sukenik joined Grace in 1979 as controller of Grace Specialty Chemicals (GSC). He will continue to serve as GSC's controller while assisting in the integration of the GSC and corporate functions. Prior to joining Grace, Sukenik was assistant corporate controller at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. He also held management positions at Raymond International, and Atlantic Richfield Co. and Sinclair Oil. Earlier, he received his CPA certificate while with Arthur Young & Co. Sukenik, 53, graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in 1959. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1961. He and his wife, Nancy, maintain residences in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and New York City. Brian J. Smith, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Grace, said, "Dick brings to his new assignment both outstanding technical skills and, more importantly, an in-depth understanding of many of the businesses that will be core to Grace in the future."
