GOVERNMENT DELEGATION LAYS FLOWERS AT GOCE DELCEV'S TOMB AT CHURCH OF ST. SPAS.
A delegation of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, including Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, Education and Science Minister Arber Ademi and Deputy Minister of Culture Vladimir Lazovski laid flowers at Goce Delcev's grave at the Church of St. Spas in Skopje to mark 147 years of his birth.
The government press service said in its press release that with this move the Government of the Republic of Macedonia joined the events with which the people of Macedonia paid their respects to the work of the great revolutionary and leader of the struggle for a free Macedonian state integrated in the progressive community of nations.
"Great visionary Goce Delcev's ideals and commitments represent a responsibly to all of us to ensure unity in tackling political challenges with sincerity and maximum inclusion of all social stakeholders and citizens," the statement says.
