Gold Wire Technology, Waltham, Mass., has announced that its Formulator(R) product family of network configuration control appliances now supports industry-leading Virtual Private Network (VPN) and firewall solutions from Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) and NetScreen Technologies (NASDAQ: NSCN) for the enterprise, government and service provider markets.This means that for the first time network operators and security directors will be able to use a single solution to provide network configuration control for the majority of devices in their network. Gold Wire Technology is the first company to provide multi-vendor, single sign-on network access and configuration control for routers, switches and firewalls in a single appliance.
