 GMAC REDEEMS 7.45 PERCENT NOTES
 DETROIT, May 1 /PRNewswire/ -- General Motors Acceptance Corporation


announced today that it will exercise its option to redeem on June 1, 1992, all of its outstanding 7.45 percent Notes due to mature April 1, 1994. The Notes will be redeemed at 100 percent of their principal amount plus accrued interest.
 The Notes were sold in April 1987 in the principal amount of $100 million, all of which are presently outstanding.
 The Notes may be presented and surrendered for payment to Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York, Corporate Trust Operations Department, Tellers and Mail Unit, 55 Exchange Place, Basement A, New York, N.Y. 10260-0023. Interest on the Notes will cease to accrue on and after June 1, 1992.
