GM NOTIFIES CUSTOMERS OF RECALL

DETROIT, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- General Motors (NYSE: GM) is notifying 11,919 owners of 1993 Cadillac Seville Touring Sedan, Eldorado Sport Coupe and Eldorado Touring Coupe models of a voluntary safety recall.
These models, equipped with the 4.6-liter V8 engine, may experience a fuel leak due to an improperly seated fuel line connector. If improperly seated, the connector may loosen, resulting in fuel odor or a fuel leak. There have been no accidents or fires reported as a result of this condition.
Vehicles affected by this recall include models built before Dec. 23, 1992. A very low incidence of connector misalignment has been discovered in inspected vehicles.
In the notification letter, owners are asked to contact their Cadillac dealer for inspection and, if necessary, repair of the fuel line.
