GLOBE ACQUIRES EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS TO NOCOPI TECHNOLOGY WAYNE, Pa., March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Nocopi International Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: NOOP) today announced that Globe Ticket Company of Warminster, Pa., had converted its non-exclusive marketing agreement for the Nocopi technology to an exclusive agreement.
The joint announcement was made by Norman A. Gardner, president and chief executive officer of Nocopi, and Clyde Almy, vice president of sales and marketing of Globe. Globe, the largest ticket company in the U.S., first acquired the non-exclusive marketing rights to Nocopi's technology in October 1991. "We are delighted with Globe's decision and feel this will give them a strong competitive advantage in the market," said Gardner. "Our expectation is that exclusivity will give Globe a dominant position in U.S. event and transportation ticketing," said Almy. "We anticipate that 50 percent of our core business will incorporate the technology by the end of 1993," said Almy.
